ABOUT lindsay

I’m a full-time photographer living in rural south east England. I’m a graduate of the university of Brighton, with a life sciences degree and a background in clinical research. Much as I enjoyed academia, I found myself dreaming about a more varied and creative career. I think this is partly to do with my slightly chaotic upbringing within a globetrotting Forces family. I crave new experiences and new challenges – photography is a fantastic outlet for that.

After my time in the pharmaceutical industry I was gradually able to turn my photography into a sole venture. I’m proud to have won many leading industry awards for my work over the years. As well as being awarded Fellowships of the British Institute of Professional Photography and The Societies, I’ve been a brand ambassador for Olympus UK (from 2013 to 2016). I’ve been a speaker at The Photography Show and The Societies Convention, and my work has been featured throughout the photographic press.

Not everyone enjoys having their picture taken (I’m one of them!) and I’ll always strive to make the process painless and rewarding. I photograph people of all shapes, ages, and sizes. My photographic style is relaxed yet meticulous.
